(ABC News: Mark Leonardi)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">It is the first time regulated regional electricity prices have decreased in five years, following a 7.2 per cent decrease in the flat rate for the state&#8217;s south-east corner, set by the Australian Energy Regulator in late May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Speaking in Townsville, Queensland Premier David Crisafulli said the government expected regional power supplier Ergon Energy to pass the savings on in full.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;People are under an immense amount of pressure \u2014 rising fuel prices, rising rents, rising interest rates. This is only a small bit,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;The message is clear to Ergon, pass on the savings in full.
