Clint Stanaway has revealed he and his The Block contestant friend are having a baby, opting for a \u201cco-parenting model\u201d.<\/p>\n
Tearing up, the radio host shared on his brekkie radio show on Friday that he is going to become a first-time father.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m going to be a dad,\u201d Stanaway told the Jase, Lauren and Clint show.<\/p>\n
Stanaway, 43, went on to say he and his good friend, former The Block contestant Eliza Paschke, have decided go down the \u201cco-parenting model\u201d to have a child.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m going to have a different looking family, but a family that is not going to have any shortage of love in it,\u201d Stanaway shared as best friend Phillips teared up along with their Nova co-host Jase Hawkins.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m going to be having a baby with a really good friend of mine \u2026 and we\u2019re going to be using a co-parenting model to have this child.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can\u2019t wait for you to meet me little boy or girl.\u201d<\/p>\n
A co-parenting model is described as usually involved two or more adults raising a child together as equal partners, regardless of whether they are romantically involved.<\/p>\n
Stanaway has openly talked about his current single status, but has previously spoken about his desire to have a family.<\/p>\n
In the studio, Jase, Lauren and the whole Nova crew all embraced Clint warmly after the good news. <\/p>\n
Eliza, 40, later confirmed that she was, in fact, having a baby with the popular radio host by sharing his announcement video to her public Instagram page.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo happy to be sharing the experience with this wonderful human,\u201d she wrote, tagging Clint.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecoming a mum is something I\u2019ve always thought about and openly discussed,\u201d Eliza wrote, along with a picture of her sonogram.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday I\u2019m 16 weeks pregnant, and feeling immensely grateful to be in this position. I know there will be lots of questions, which I\u2019ll answer over time.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Aussie reality renovation contestant, who rose to fame on the 2023 season of The Block with younger sister Liberty, has always been very open about starting a family.<\/p>\n
She previously revealed she had decided to freeze her eggs at 32.<\/p>\n
Stanaway said he almost passed out seeing the first scan.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt almost took his breath away.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cJust hearing the heartbeat and seeing your baby there, it was just like \u201cwow this is special\u201d.<\/p>\n
