The 2026 Isle of Man Senior TT has been red-flagged on the second of its planned four laps due to a crash at 11th Milestone.<\/p>\n
Organisers said the rider involved was “conscious and talking” and had been taken to Noble’s Hospital for “further assessment and treatment”.<\/p>\n
The race will not be restarted on Friday night, with temperatures dropping and limited daylight and closed-road time remaining.<\/p>\n
But it is hoped that it can be re-run on Saturday in another revised schedule, with the second sportsbike race also planned for tomorrow – although organisers will again be battling against a mixed weather forecast.<\/p>\n
Dean Harrison was pulling away in the Senior TT race lead when the stoppage happened, having led Peter Hickman by 12 seconds after the first lap.<\/p>\n
Josh Brookes, Ian Hutchinson and Michael Dunlop filled the top five as the field prepared for their mid-race pitstops.<\/p>\n
No details of the cause of the red flag have been released so far.<\/p>\n
The start had already been pushed back to 6.25pm local time on Friday following two non-racing incidents earlier in the day, which was the first day racing has been possible since Tuesday in the rain-affected week.<\/p>\n
