Dua Lipa and her new husband Callum Turner<\/a> are basking in that newlywed glow after their low-key wedding in London over the weekend. <\/p>\n

While the pop superstar has already treated fans to a glimpse of the big day on social media<\/a>, it\u2019s her new husband who may have dropped the ultimate hint about where they\u2019re heading for their honeymoon.<\/p>\n

Actor Callum Turner may have given nine.com.au a hint about their honeymoon plans after talking about their recent safari holiday.\u00a0Instagram\/Dua Lipa<\/p>\n

Just weeks before their wedding, the 36-year-old actor told nine.com.au about his hopes for the couple\u2019s next getaway following a safari together in April, which the 30-year-old singer described \u201cas the most incredible trip of my life\u201d.<\/p>\n

Turns out, Turner, who is promoting his upcoming rom-com One Night Only, is hoping for another animal-inspired getaway for their next chapter. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe just went on safari, that was pretty cool\u2026 I don\u2019t know what our next one will be, maybe go see the polar bears,\u201d he teased to nine.com.au.<\/p>\n

The British actor, who has been with the singer since January 2024, also insisted that their combined global fame never dictates their itinerary \u2013 whether they\u2019re jetting across the world or just heading out for dinner.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe always go to the restaurants we want to go to anyway,\u201d Turner said, when asked what his ideal date night would look like if he actually had \u201cone night only\u201d of true anonymity.<\/p>\n

Turner\u2019s One Night Only co-star Monica Barbaro<\/a> \u2013 who earlier this year starred alongside Chris Hemsworth in Crime 101<\/a> noted the actor had been looking forward to the safari when they were filming the new rom-com last September.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know, because we planned it but then got delayed [because] I got sick,\u201d he revealed.<\/p>\n

Turner and Lipa ended up going in April, with the singer sharing a carousel of photos from the couple\u2019s holiday on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just had the most incredible trip of my life in South Africa,\u201d Lipa captioned the post.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing so close to such beautiful animals in their natural habitat, between Kruger Park and Sabi Sands, was something I can barely put into words.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was truly unforgettable … one of those experiences that stays with you forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

American actress Barbaro, of A Complete Unknown fame, has been dating British actor Andrew Garfield since early 2025 and agreed the couple\u2019s star status doesn\u2019t impact what they do together, either.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can live your life as you want to live your life and you don\u2019t have to worry about that side of things,\u201d Barbaro tells nine.com.au of her view of living life in the public eye.<\/p>\n

Barbaro has been dating Andrew Garfield since early 2025 and says their fame doesn’t impact their date nights.\u00a0GC Images<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like it\u2019s the company that makes it the date, I think.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love to just be a person who does fun things with anybody. I feel like whatever you do with a really good friend is always that much more heightened with the right partner.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair play Owen and Allie, who meet on the one night of the year it\u2019s legal for single people to have sex \u2013 and, as typical of a rom-com directed by Will Gluck, it\u2019s not smooth sailing to the happily ever after.<\/p>\n

Gluck is best known for his hit films Anyone But You, Friends with Benefits and Easy A.<\/p>\n

Turner\u2019s character Owen \u201cis in the wrong relationship\u201d and gets dumped on the night he thinks he\u2019s going to get engaged to his girlfriend of two years because she wants to sleep with someone else.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s sent into this wild night without knowing what\u2019s going to happen, or even if he wants to do that, and meets Allie,\u201d Turner teases of his role.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Barbaro, says her character Allie is \u201cworking a job that I think she finds pretty mundane and has big dreams and wants to also find romantic connection\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe happen to find her on this night that is completely chaotic, particularly for relationships and requires a lot of leaping without a net and that\u2019s not something she\u2019s necessarily comfortable with,\u201d Barbaro says.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut [she] gets a few good pushes in that direction and meets Owen, and that almost goes really well until it really doesn\u2019t, and then you watch them on their sort of parallel and converging tracks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Turner says even though their first meeting is \u201ca disaster\u201d, \u201csparks fly and the atmosphere in that moment where we first look at each other, the atoms change for a brief moment\u201d.<\/p>\n

Gluck tells nine.com.au Turner and Barbaro\u2019s chemistry was simply \u201cin there\u201d when talking about why he cast the pair.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese guys are amazing, just watch them, you can\u2019t stop watching them,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I think the secret to good chemistry is not necessarily intimacy, it\u2019s more \u2018do you want to see these two people just be with each other, doing anything?\u2019 and as you can see, the answer is \u2018yes\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
