The goal is to draft a team of players that could (theoretically) have a perfect 82-0 season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">Obviously, if you just had free rein to pick whoever you wanted from throughout history, there would be little challenge. The twist is that the site randomly selects a team and an era, and then you pick a single player. So, for example, if you pulled the Knicks and 2020s, you might pick Jalen Brunson as your point guard, then you\u2019d get a new team and era to select your center from.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">You can reshuffle the team once, and the era once, if you don\u2019t like your options. But that\u2019s it. Part of the challenge is also figuring out exactly when to settle for what\u2019s in front of you, and when to hold out hope for the very best. Domantas Sabonis is an excellent player, but do you reshuffle or pick someone else from the Kings in hopes of maybe drawing Wilt Chamberlain in a later round?<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">There\u2019s also a HoopIQ mode that hides all the stats and basically requires you to have an encyclopedic knowledge of basketball to score a perfect season. Honestly, though, even with the stats right in front of you, it\u2019s pretty hard. The best I could get was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.82-0.com\/share?id=5LuvdKGv2bAvCerlBrli\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">78-4<\/a>. There are also already clones cropping up like <a href=\"https:\/\/databallr.com\/sixrings\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SixRings<\/a> from databallr, though that has been pretty unstable in my experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">If you\u2019re a basketball fan at all, definitely go check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.82-0.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">82-0<\/a>.
