I’m open to ideas of a second tier, relegation and promotion – if only we had the clubs\/teams to do it. That may motivate some passengers that appear on team sheets. It’s so easy for the Panthers. So, so easy.<\/p>\n

He does really well to pick a pass from Jack Cogger off his boot laces and, when he looks up, sees Smith on his shoulder so just passes simply, and the prop just runs through this horrible Tigers defensive line to score another.<\/p>\n

Wow, it’s just so rubbish from the Tigers. I just don’t know what you even say about it anymore.<\/p>\n

Heamasi Makasini really has to score there.<\/p>\n

But Dylan Edwards stops him with a brilliant stop, holding the Tigers centre and the ball hard and tight, using his knee to keep the ball off the turf.<\/p>\n

To make matters worse, Jarome Luai inexplicably thinks the Tigers deserve a repeat set – perhaps out of sympathy? There was no call, so the Tigers limp to the end of the set and hand the ball over.<\/p>\n

Luai is filthy, but probably as much with himself as the referee.<\/p>\n

This time he is wrapped up though and throws a poor pass the Nathan Cleary, handing possession back to the Tigers.<\/p>\n

A lovely offload is pushed out his way by Brian To’o – and then he sets off, shrugging off Tigers tacklers like they are those aforementioned kittens.<\/p>\n

He has Jack Cogger inside him and his pass sends him over.<\/p>\n

The ball bounced nicely into the hands of Brian To’o, who stepped once and scooted over.<\/p>\n

Nathan Cleary is toying with the Tigers as if they are three-month-old tabby cat who is drunk on catnip.<\/p>\n

It did look, based on that replay, like the ball might have had a bit of Tigers assistance in coming loose but no challenge and the Tigers will take the ball out from their own 10.<\/p>\n

It was the start of May, Round 9 when the Wests Tigers were slammed by Benji Marshall as being “unacceptable” in defeat to the Sharks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I was covering that game and this is just as bad.<\/p>\n

Sure, the Panthers are a lot batter than the Sharks, but at the moment the Tigers could be playing anyone and not look up to it.<\/p>\n

It’s been a pathetic half from the home side, ending the opening 40 with another dropped pass.<\/p>\n

Jarome Luai is shown looking up into the sky – I’m not sure the answer is there, mate.<\/p>\n

The crowd aren’t impressed – at least, the Tigers fans among the crowd aren’t.<\/p>\n

But the Panthers are six tries to the good and could be even further ahead.<\/p>\n

It’s the biggest half time lead any team has had this season and the biggest ever lead at the break in matches between the Panthers and the Tigers.<\/p>\n
