Tigers coach Benji Marshall didn\u2019t miss his side following their embarrassing 68-0 loss to Penrith<\/a>, delivering a scathing assessment which included the adjectives \u2018brain dead\u2019 and \u2018dumb\u2019.<\/p>\n

Marshall\u2019s men were blown off the park at CommBank Stadium. The ugly afternoon began early and the Panthers didn\u2019t relent until the full time buzzer, with Penrith recording their biggest ever win. <\/p>\n

The Tigers made several soft errors early on, and the classy Panthers took full advantage, running in six tries in the first half. <\/p>\n

Penrith didn\u2019t take their foot off the gas in the second forty, putting on another six tries all while keeping the Tigers scoreless resulting in the fifth-biggest margin of defeat in NRL\/NSWRL history. <\/p>\n

In all, the Tigers missed 52 tackles while allowing the Panthers to record a staggering 16 line breaks.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, it\u2019s embarrassing \u2026 their performance was unacceptable,\u201d Marshall said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything in our game that we could possibly get wrong, we got wrong.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt looks like with the scoreline that we\u2019re not trying \u2026 we were so dumb with the ball, and we can\u2019t defend our areas.<\/p>\n

Marshall also apologised to the Tigers\u2019 loyal fanbase, many of whom stayed for the entire 80 minutes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t usually apologise to our fans and members but that performance was just unacceptable,\u201d a deflated Marshall said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m actually surprised they stuck around as long as they did today, because it was clear to me from the start, we weren\u2019t there.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to take accountability for your performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you flush it, then you\u2019re saying that what happened today, we\u2019re prepared to just put under the rug and accept it\u2019s OK\u201d. It\u2019s not.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Tigers have been one of the worst hit clubs by injury this season, with several first choice players out. <\/p>\n

However, that won\u2019t stop Marshall consider shaking up his line up. <\/p>\n
