Sophie Turner<\/a> has revealed that she believes she accidentally broke off a celebrity couple’s engagement<\/a><\/p>\n

Speaking with Seth Meyers in a recent episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, the Game of Thrones<\/a> star recalled attending a San Diego Comic Con after party years ago that “went south really quick”.<\/p>\n

“I really can’t name names or I’ll get in a lot of trouble, but I brought my best friend from my school days with me and she saw this actor that she loved.”<\/p>\n

Turner, who played Sansa Stark in the fantasy series, recalled her friend asking her to greet the actor.<\/p>\n

“I didn’t know this actor,” she admitted, so instead she simply waved in his direction.<\/p>\n

“Later on,\ufeff I see this girl looking at me and she’s a famous actress. I was like, ‘Oh I have to go and tell her how much she means to me.”<\/p>\n

But when she went over to the actress, who she didn’t name, Turner received an unexpected greeting.<\/p>\n

“So, I dance on over and she goes, ‘Can you stop f—ing flirting with my fiance?” Turner recalled.<\/p>\n

She then asked, “Who’s your fiance?” then the actress pointed towards the actor Turner had waved at.<\/p>\n

Turner added \ufeffthat she had “no idea who this man is” but it seems that didn’t matter.<\/p>\n

“Turns out, I think they broke their engagement off that night because of my [wave],” she revealed.<\/p>\n

\ufeffAt another point in her chat with Meyers, Turner alluded to her own split from her ex-husband Joe Jonas as she opened up about what was going on in her personal life as she filmed her new movie Trust.<\/p>\n

“\ufeffI’m not sure if anyone’s aware but when I started shooting this movie, I was going through, like, a media hell,” Turner said.<\/p>\n

“So this was super cathartic because I wanted to run away in my real life when that was all happening,” she added.<\/p>\n

“But I got to do it in a movie and I got to smash some s— up so that was fun.”\ufeff<\/p>\n
