The Iranian football sqaud has arrived in Tijuana, Mexico, which will serve as its base for the 2026 World Cup amid a row over US visas.<\/p>\n
The side’s original plan to stay in Tucson, Arizona was changed after visas were denied for several members of staff, including the head of Iran’s football federation, Mehdi Taj.<\/p>\n
All of Iran’s group games are in the US, but players will have to fly in and out of the country on each match day.<\/p>\n
