{"id":723536,"date":"2026-06-08T18:25:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T18:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/723536\/"},"modified":"2026-06-08T18:25:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T18:25:09","slug":"womens-golf-places-five-on-academic-all-mac-squad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/723536\/","title":{"rendered":"Women\u2019s Golf Places Five on Academic All-MAC Squad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CLEVELAND &#8211; &#8211; Thanks to their strong work both in the classroom and on the course, five members of the Ball State women&#8217;s golf team were named to the 2025-26 Mid-American Conference Academic All-MAC Team as announced by the league office Monday (June 8).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nEarning the award for the third times in their collegiate careers were seniors <a href=\"https:\/\/ballstatesports.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/jasmine-driscoll\/12137\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"12137\" target=\"_blank\">Jasmine Driscoll<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ballstatesports.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/sarah-gallagher\/12139\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"12139\" target=\"_blank\">Sarah Gallagher<\/a>. Junior <a href=\"https:\/\/ballstatesports.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/jj-gregston\/12140\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"12140\" target=\"_blank\">JJ Gregston<\/a> claimed the honor for the second consecutive season, while senior <a href=\"https:\/\/ballstatesports.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/sabrina-langerak\/12141\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"12141\" target=\"_blank\">Sabrina Langerak<\/a> and sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/ballstatesports.com\/sports\/womens-golf\/roster\/sophie-korthuijs\/12143\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"12143\" target=\"_blank\">Sophie Korthuijs<\/a> were first-time honorees.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must own a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 and participate in at least 50 percent of their team&#8217;s events.
