Gold Coast star Tino Fa\u2019asuamaleaui has responded to the reports he will hit the open market and potentially opt out of his mammoth ten-year Titans deal. <\/p>\n

Fa\u2019asuamaleaui is under contract until 2033 but has a get-out clause in this contract which if triggered, allows him to depart the club at the end of next season. <\/p>\n

The Titans are desperate to keep him, but they will have plenty of opposition with veteran journalist Phil Rothfield revealing the Dragons, Bulldogs and Bears are keen to negotiate with the star forward. <\/a><\/p>\n

In fact, the Bears are reportedly prepared to offer Fa\u2019asuamaleaui a five-year deal worth $7.5 million.<\/p>\n

Fa\u2019asuamaleaui\u2019s agent Simon Mammino told Code Sports this week that they will \u201clook around\u201d. <\/p>\n

Fa\u2019asuamaleaui\u2019s NRL future wasn\u2019t the only reason he was in the headlines this past week.<\/p>\n

There are reports circulating that Fa\u2019asuamaleaui will follow Payne Haas\u2019 footsteps and change his international allegiance from Australia to Samoa.<\/p>\n

Code Sports reported that Haas had informed Samoan players of his switch and could represent the country during the Pacific Championships in October. <\/p>\n

Fa\u2019asuamaleaui is said to be weighing up the same move<\/a>, but he refused to give anything away when asked about it in the Titans\u2019 press conference.<\/p>\n
