While some users liked the sleek, transparent designs that look \u201cglassy,\u201d others found the new design difficult to read. At Apple\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2026\/06\/08\/wwdc-2026-what-to-expect-from-siris-highly-anticipated-revamp-to-apple-intelligence-and-ios-27\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WWDC 2026 event<\/a> on Monday, the company announced some changes that may benefit the <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/10\/20\/apple-will-let-users-roll-back-the-liquid-glass-look-with-new-tinted-option\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liquid Glass haters<\/a> among us.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple says that it is \u201cupdating the foundations of how Liquid Glass is built to ensure exceptional readability.\u201d It will apparently accomplish this by diffusing \u201ccomplex content\u201d behind it to create more depth and separation between content panels. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crucially, Apple said that it won\u2019t force users into this new look. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSince everyone\u2019s preference varies, we\u2019re adding a new slider and settings to adjust Liquid Glass, so you can set it anywhere from ultra clear to fully tinted,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"383\" width=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot-2026-06-08-at-1.09.06-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3130500\"  \/>Image Credits:Apple<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On both iOS and MacOS, Apple will also redesign its app icons to look more refined and cohesive, which could help pull the Liquid Glass look together.
