Image: InSyde Media<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/speedcafe.com\/supercars-news-adelaide-grand-final-expansion-speedway-second-weekend-sprintcars-details\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The SAMB tabled the idea of two weekends of motorsport action in the city<\/a> this year, putting the parklands venue into use on November 20-22, the weekend before the Adelaide Grand Final.<\/p>\n<p>The plan was centred around the NAPA Speedway in the City venue and adding an additional weekend of dirt racing ahead of the main event.<\/p>\n<p>Speedcafe understands the target was bike speedway categories for the first weekend before a switch to four-wheeled speedway \u2013 headlined by Sprintcars \u2013 for the Adelaide GF weekend.<\/p>\n<p>However, as it stands the expansion appears to be off the table for now after early consultation with the Adelaide Park Lands Authority and other city officials.<\/p>\n<p>Instead the speedway will only be held across as the Adelaide Grand Final weekend as has been the case the past two years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe talked about the possibility of an event [the weekend] prior and it was really just an expansion of the speedway event that we have at the BP Adelaide Grand Final,\u201d SAMB CEO Mark Warren told ABC Radio.<\/p>\n<p>Buy tickets to the 2026 betr Darwin Triple Crown. <a href=\"https:\/\/ticketekau.pxf.io\/5kYxK3\" style=\"color:#de482e;\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Click here <\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuch has been the popularity of the speedway, there\u2019s many classes and categories that want to be part of it.
