Kurt and Kyle were staples of the NASCAR scene in the 2000s, 2010s and into the early 2020s.<\/p>\n
Kurt\u2019s career was cut short midway through the 2022 season by concussion symptoms and he ultimately retired from stock car racing in 2023.<\/p>\n
Kyle continued racing until his tragic death in May due to pneumonia that progressed into sepsis, which took his life at 41 years old.<\/p>\n
Kurt appeared at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the days after Kyle\u2019s death, laying flowers on the grass infield where the star driver\u2019s stylised #8 was painted.<\/p>\n
Nearly three weeks on from Kyle\u2019s passing, Kurt took to social media with an emotional tribute \u2013 acknowledging the impact his brother played on not only his life but many others.<\/p>\n
