The WBC expresses its most sincere gratitude to Rodr\u00edguez for being a dignified and proud ambassador of the Green and Gold colors, wishing him the absolute best of success in his career.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-185571\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/jesse-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\"  \/><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">Jesse Rodr\u00edguez (23-0, 16 KOs) has built one of the most meteoric and spectacular careers in modern boxing, consistently backed by Teiken Promotions. Interestingly, the story of this ring phenomenon began in Mexico City, where he made his professional debut on March 10, 2017, defeating Mauricio Cruz via unanimous decision at the Carpa Astros in Tlalpan.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-185573\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/What-a-great-picture.-Jessie-Bam-Rodriguez-making-his-pro-debut-in-Mexico-City-with-Robert-Garci.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"731\" height=\"731\"  \/><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">His journey to WBC world glory erupted on February 5, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona, when at just 22 years old, he defeated the experienced Carlos Cuadras by unanimous decision to capture the WBC world super flyweight championship. Far from complacent, \u2018Bam\u2019 solidified his elite status by successfully defending that crown against top-tier contenders and legends, including Thailand\u2019s Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and Israel Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-185575\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/srisaket-rodriguez.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"986\" height=\"554\"  \/><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">After a successful run in the flyweight division where he captured the WBO title, Rodr\u00edguez returned to 115 pounds to headline a clash of titans against Juan Francisco \u201cGallo\u201d Estrada, whom he dethroned to recapture the WBC world super flyweight title. After completing three successful defenses of his reign, Rodr\u00edguez leaves the division through the front door to take on new challenges.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-185577\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/jesse.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1296\" height=\"729\"  \/><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">Rodr\u00edguez is now looking to kick off a new era.
