When it comes to inspiring Australians, our veterans are right up there.<\/p>\n

Many turn to Invictus Australia to give them life after service.<\/p>\n

Navy veteran Luke McCallum described the program as \u201clife changing\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI found somewhere that I belong for the first time since I was discharged,\u201d McCallum said.<\/p>\n

Fellow navy veteran Colin McCallum has also benefited from being a part of the Invictus Australia community.<\/p>\n

\u201cKnowing that at my rowing group if I don\u2019t turn up I\u2019m going to get a message that says \u2018are you ok?\u2019 and I think that\u2019s the difference,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

So when A Current Affair found out the federal government cut all of its funding, we couldn\u2019t turn our backs on them.<\/p>\n

After our campaign that funding was re-instated for another three years<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry founded the Invictus concept, so his team watched closely and sent us a message.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Duke is absolutely thrilled. Thank you to the whole A Current Affair team for taking on this important campaign,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
