The<br \/>\nround was led by <a href=\"https:\/\/greshamhouseventures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Gresham House Ventures<\/a>, with follow-on participation from<br \/>\nexisting investors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.balderton.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Balderton Capital<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ekavc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Eka Ventures<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wavemaker360.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Wavemaker360<\/a>, alongside<br \/>\nangel investors including Blockchain.com co-founder Nicolas Cary.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2022 by former NHS doctor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dr-sonia-szamocki\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dr Sonia Szamocki<\/a>, 01Health develops technology that enables local clinics to<br \/>\nprovide specialist healthcare services that have traditionally been<br \/>\nconcentrated in hospitals and larger urban centres. The company was established<br \/>\nto address barriers to accessing specialist care, including workforce<br \/>\nshortages, geographic constraints, and infrastructure limitations.<\/p>\n<p>To support this approach, the 01Health<br \/>\nplatform combines specialist oversight, clinical protocols, patient<br \/>\ncommunication tools, operational workflows, and AI-powered patient acquisition<br \/>\ninto a single system that enables specialist services to be delivered through<br \/>\nlocal clinics.<\/p>\n<p>The technology has so far been used<br \/>\nprimarily within 01Health&#8217;s own healthcare services, including the orthodontics<br \/>\nplatform 32Co and dental sleep medicine provider Aerox Health.
