During search warrants police seized $200,000 in cash from a Greenacre home, Inspector Walsh says.

“The $200,000 cash we located in one of the houses in Greenacre is obviously quite substantial and that money we’re going to be alleging as proceeds of crime.”

Police reassure safety of community

Inspector Walsh says the alleged syndicate is “well entrenched” in organised crime but reassured the safety of the community.

“We know what’s going on in our community. We want to make sure we do our absolute best to try and dismantle these groups and stop what’s happening. “

“During a search of the man and nearby park, officers allegedly located and seized $25,000 cash and approximately 140 grams of cocaine,” NSW Police said in a statement.

“A short time later, a search warrant was executed at a home in Greenacre, where officers allegedly located and seized approximately $220,000 cash, approximately 68 grams of cocaine, approximately 10 grams of MDMA, a vehicle and several mobile phones.”

He was charged with more than 20 drug offences as well as those relating to proceeds of crime and directing activities of a criminal group.

A second search warrant was executed at a Bankstown unit a short time later, where a 51-year-old man was also arrested and a ballistic vest, a baton and steroids were allegedly found by officers.

He was later charged with drug offences and participating in a criminal group.

A 54-year-old woman was arrested in Newington, where ketamine and MDMA were allegedly seized and she was charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug.

All three were all refused bail ahead of a court hearing today.

Detective Chief Inspector Jeffrey Walsh said police would allege Skaf was the head of the operation and “directed everybody”.

Inspector Walsh said police had been investigating the alleged offenders since March.

“We do have a lot more work to do,” he said.

“I think that will show more of what the syndicate was doing and was capable of.”

Police said their investigations would continue.

By the time of his release, he had never expressed remorse or apologised for his crimes.

After his release in 2021, Skaf was electronically monitored 24 hours a day and was banned from certain parts of Western Sydney until his sentence expired on January 1, 2024.

Notorious Sydney gang rapist Mohammed Skaf has been charged with a string of offences over his alleged involvement…

[4
45387,64,63,2025,346070,1108,48,65222,352787,44,4277,670
post-728504","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-australia","tag-arrest","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-charges","tag-community-corrections","tag-court","tag-crime","tag-gang-rape","tag-mohammed-skaf","tag-news","tag-nsw-police","tag-sydney
["GET
