Game 5 is set for Saturday night at Frost Bank Center

SAN ANTONIO – The Spurs were welcomed back to San Antonio Thursday afternoon to rowdy fans following a historic loss to the New York Knicks in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

With the Knicks’ 29-point comeback win Wednesday night, San Antonio is down three games to one and are now on the brink of elimination.

The Spurs will take the court Saturday night for Game 5 at the Frost Bank Center. If necessary, Game 6 will be back in New York City followed by a Game 7 back at the Frost Bank Center (June 19).

The Silver and Black have quite the hill to climb to storm back in the series, but there is some history in San Antonio’s favor.

In 2016, Cleveland trailed 3-1 against Golden State in the NBA Finals and won the series. The Spurs find themselves in a similar position.

Game 5 between the Spurs and Knicks will air at 7:30 p.m. Saturday live on KSAT 12. KSAT’s pregame coverage begins with an hourlong Race to Seis special at 6 p.m. on KSAT 12 and KSAT Plus before shifting over to KSAT Plus exclusively at 7 p.m.
