Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night between the New York Knicks<\/a> and San Antonio Spurs<\/a> proved to be an instant classic. The Knicks pulled off the greatest comeback in Finals history, overcoming a 29-point deficit to stun the Finals thanks to a go-ahead tip-in from OG Anunoby<\/a> with just 1.2 seconds left in regulation.<\/p>\n

The comeback led to an incredible atmosphere in Madison Square Garden, courtesy of the Knicks fans in attendance. However, not everyone was thrilled to see the New York<\/a> faithful enjoy the miraculous comeback, and count Barstool Sports founder and avid Boston fan Dave Portnoy amongst those detractors.<\/p>\n

\u201cI gotta go to confessional. I didn\u2019t sleep last night because of that basketball game,\u201d Portnoy said in a video posted to X.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I hate the Spurs now, like legitimately. (De\u2019Aaron Fox<\/a>), like you\u2019re, you have the basketball IQ of an absolute ant,\u201d he said of Fox\u2019s late-game gaffes that hurt the Spurs down the stretch.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s in my personality, I don\u2019t know, it\u2019s just me being a Boston fan. I hate the Knicks now,\u201d he went on, before tearing into Knicks\u2019 fans, and especially the ones sitting on MSG\u2019s \u201ccelebrity row.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLike, I\u2019ve always hated New York sports teams, but watching their fans celebrate in that arena and people who aren\u2019t even like basketball fans and like just made my skin crawl on a level I can\u2019t even describe. And like, they\u2019re egging Wembyana going back to the hotel, they\u2019re rioting in the streets, they\u2019re fighting with cops. I just hate it\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor Swift, not a fan, she\u2019s celebrating, I\u2019m sick of her\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cI just\u2014 the whole thing I hate. I hate it all. Like, I like Larry David, uh, Curb Your Enthusiasm. I like Seinfeld. I hate them. Scooter Braun, I\u2019ve always hated him. Big T*ts McGee, Sweeney, Uh, where\u2019s she from? Hater. What is Hailey Bieber doing at the game with Tate McRae? Tate, you\u2019re from Canada.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hate them all\u2026 I just hate New York Sports fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Portnoy, a Knicks Finals win seems all but inevitable at this point, which would mean he\u2019ll have to see the celebrations hit another level.<\/p>\n
