The European leg of the 2026 Formula 1 season continues at pace this weekend at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, an event where many teams have opted to add updates to their cars. But what parts will each squad be running this weekend? F1.com has rounded up all of the details\u2026<\/p>\n
Mercedes<\/p>\n
Championship leaders Mercedes<\/a> are using an updated rear wing in Barcelona, featuring small winglets added on the centreline. The Silver Arrows have stated that these will increase the camber of the upper rear wing on centreline, which will generate downforce and drag \u201cat a ratio attractive for this event\u201d.<\/p>\n Ferrari<\/p>\n The most extensive wave of upgrades this weekend comes courtesy of Ferrari<\/a>, the team having made updates to various components. This includes a revised front wing, which will be an evolution of that used previously with \u201cenhanced tip flow features, coming with front wheel wake control benefits as well as increased aero balance capacity\u201d.<\/p>\n Another update aimed at increasing performance in local load is the floor, the Scuderia having brought an entire floor update which they say is \u201ctargeting overall aerodynamic load increase across the main car operating window\u201d.<\/p>\n Finally, to improve flow conditioning, Ferrari have added an inflated sidepod shoulder and adapted cokeline, developed in conjunction with the floor update.<\/p>\n McLaren<\/p>\n There is just one upgrade for McLaren<\/a> in Barcelona, with the papaya squad running a revised front wing endplate to improve aerodynamic flow conditioning and bring enhanced aerodynamic performance overall.<\/p>\n Red Bull<\/p>\n Red Bull<\/a> are another team to have made updates to their front wing this weekend. The wing element geometries have been revised where they meet the endplate \u2013 aiming to improve the local load and maintain flow stability \u2013 while a more cambered flap assembly has been produced in the event that the front wing load demand exceeds expectations.<\/p>\n Alpine<\/p>\n There are no upgrades listed for Alpine<\/a> at this event.<\/p>\n Racing Bulls<\/p>\n Racing Bulls<\/a> are running a circuit-specific front wing update, having added Gurney flaps to the trailing edge which provides extended balance range for set-up optimisation in Barcelona.<\/p>\n The team have also upgraded their diffuser profile and integration with the rear crash structure, an addition that they have stated will improve aerodynamic flow conditioning at the back of the car.<\/p>\n Haas<\/p>\n The rear impact structure has been updated by Haas<\/a> this weekend, the squad running a simplified geometry to enable targeted tuning of the car\u2019s characteristics.<\/p>\n Williams<\/p>\n Williams<\/a> have modified their rear wing by adding SM fairing winglets \u2013 to offer local load at a high-downforce track \u2013 along with local trailing edge extensions added on the third element for efficient load increase.<\/p>\n Audi<\/p>\n Another team not to bring any upgrades to this event is Audi<\/a>.<\/p>\n Aston Martin<\/p>\n
