Taylor Swift<\/a> has surpassed President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s record for the most podcast listeners within the first hour of an episode being released. <\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Swift appeared on the podcast \u201cNew Heights,\u201d<\/a> hosted by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce<\/a>, and his brother, Jason Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the Philadelphia Eagles alum interviewed Swift for over two hours during the episode, which went live at 7 p.m. <\/p>\n

According to The Daily Beast<\/a>, and confirmed by Swift\u2019s representatives, 1.3 million people were watching the podcast live on YouTube during the first hour after its release. <\/p>\n

This is significant because Trump previously held the record for the most listeners tuning in during the first hour of a podcast. In October 2024, he appeared on an episode<\/a> of the \u201cJoe Rogan Experience,\u201d where 800,000 people watched during the first hour, according to data from CNN analyst Harry Enten.<\/p>\n

The influx of viewers was so high for Swift\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d episode that it crashed on YouTube around the 1-hour 44-minute mark.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean this video being 1.3 million views is the epitome of numerology,\u201d Jason wrote<\/a> on X a few minutes before the video crashed.<\/p>\n

During this record-breaking episode, Swift unveiled the cover and tracklist for her forthcoming album \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl,\u201d<\/a> discussed regaining control of her masters<\/a>, and talked about her relationship with Travis. <\/p>\n

Swift topping Trump in podcast views within the first hour comes three months after the 47th president claimed on Truth Social that Swift was waning in popularity because of him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHas anyone noticed that, since I said \u2018I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,\u2019 she\u2019s no longer \u2018HOT\u2019?\u201d he posted<\/a> in May. <\/p>\n

Trump had publicly expressed his disdain for Swift on social media in Sept. 2024 after Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election. Since then, he has continued to make spontaneous jabs at the pop star, including mentioning her in a speech in April when the Eagles visited the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl LIX<\/a> win. <\/p>\n

Swift has never publicly acknowledged Trump\u2019s comments about her.<\/p>\n
