Dakota Johnson<\/a>\u2019s book club is quickly becoming the place to be for close readers.<\/p>\n

Launched in 2024 through her TeaTime Pictures entertainment company, the Materialists<\/a> actress leads the TeaTime Book Club<\/a>, an online platform for book lovers everywhere.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Johnson, 35, picks a new book to read monthly, and posts a \u201cdeep dive\u201d into the selection on Instagram, which includes bonus material like a reading list or playlist curated by the author.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of people who do things like I do and they have book clubs, and I was always like, “Oh, the way that I read books, it\u2019s so different,\u201d Johnson told Bustle<\/a> in 2024. \u201cI want to fall down the rabbit hole every time I read \u2026 to invest in the book, invest in the language, invest in the references. Like, Oh, what is that piece of art she\u2019s talking about? Who\u2019s that musician?\u201d<\/p>\n

August: \u2018Make Your Way Home\u2019 by Carrie R. Moore <\/p>\n

May: \u2018Audition\u2019 by Katie Kitamura <\/p>\n
