Anthony Taylor<\/a> vs Matty Floyd served as the co-main event to Tommy Fury<\/a> vs Eddie Hall<\/a> at the AO Arena in Manchester, UK.<\/p>\n From the opening round, the Australian dominated proceedings, landing monstrous shots, leaving his rival noticeably uncomfortable. <\/p>\n While Taylor, tried his heart out, he appeared unable to solve the complex problem in front of him, with \u2018The Jedi\u2019 finding success with his left hook and right uppercut.<\/p>\n After building what appeared to be a 4-0 win on the cards, Floyd began searching for the stoppage that would\u2019ve earned him the Misfits Boxing light heavyweight championship.<\/p>\n The Aussie bundled his rival into the corner and began connecting with concussive blows that sent the former Bellator fighter crumbling towards the canvas.<\/p>\n At this point, Taylor began complaining of an eye injury, and following a conversation with the doctor, the referee waved off the contest. <\/p>\n Taylor, who\u2019d been hitting the canvas, then sprinted across the ring and appeared to hurl a punch at Floyd.<\/p>\n Then, much to the outrage of the crowd, the decision was announced as a No-Contest, as opposed to a victory for the man who\u2019d cruised through the fight.<\/p>\n Showcasing their opinions on the matter, the crowd jeered Taylor, and cheered loudly for Floyd throughout his post-fight interview.<\/p>\n Of course, fans took to social media to voice their opinions.<\/p>\n One said: \u201cThis is embarrassing,\u201d while another posted: \u201cYou robbed a man of a win because another man had an episode.\u201d<\/p>\n A third claimed: \u201cTaylor wanted out.\u201d A fourth fumed: \u201cHe says his eyes are burning, yet he rushes at his opponent.\u201d<\/p>\n
