The two-day All Gippsland Championships were recently held at the Bairnsdale Golf Club.<\/p>\n

Day one was a 4BBB event which was taken out by Aaron Morris and Michael Thomas (Leongatha Golf Club), with an impressive score of 66.<\/p>\n

They finished one shot ahead of Chris Buckland and Dale Reynolds.<\/p>\n

Sale Golf Club\u2019s Gavin Ballinger and John Simic took the handicap section, with 63 nett, finishing one shot ahead of Jacob Brewer and Darren Beggs.<\/p>\n

Mixed handicap winners were the South Pines Golf Club combination of Lucy Hausegger and Rohan Dare.<\/p>\n

Day two centred around the of the 36-hole stroke event, with 57 players taking to the fairways.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event was taken out by local gun, Noah Paterson, with a splendid score of 143.<\/p>\n

Traralgon Golf Club\u2019s Paul Andrijczak was the runner-up, with a score of 146.<\/p>\n

Maffra\u2019s Golf Club\u2019s Cooper Rimington was the All Gippsland junior champion and the Carruthers Shield, East, West and <\/p>\n

South junior challenge, was won by Golf East Gippsland.<\/p>\n

Thomas (Leongatha) was the Champion of Champions winner and Chris Nott (Yallourn Golf Club) the senior champion.<\/p>\n

In the 18-hole events, the morning winners were Andrijczak (\u201cA\u201d grade) and Lakes Entrance Golf Club\u2019s Hunter Douglass (\u201cB\u201d grade).<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, the winners were Thomas and Bryson Tanti.<\/p>\n

\u201cA\u201d grade All Gippsland Champion was Morris, with the \u201cB\u201d grade champion local youngster, Lachlan McGrath.<\/p>\n

The course was presented in magnificent order, a credit to curator Craig Rimington.\"\"\/It was a local win in the All Gippsland 36 hole stroke event with Bairnsdale star Noah Paterson successful.
