TV host Lynette Bolton has shared an update on her cancer battle following the removal of a tumour in her breast last week.<\/p>\n
Diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer in December last year, the wife of Sydney Swans player Jude Bolton has since been sharing her cancer journey on social media.<\/p>\n
Lynette, the star of Channel 7\u2019s Travel Oz show, started chemotherapy shortly before Christmas last year and had a lumpectomy last week. Now, the results are in.<\/p>\n
\u201cPathological Complete Response \u2014 no cancer cells found,\u201d Lynette gushed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe bloody did it.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you for every message, prayer, positive thought and moment of support over the last 191 days.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will be forever grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lynette was flooded with comments congratulating her, including a message from The Swans saying: \u201cfantastic news\u201d.<\/p>\n
Other wellwishers included Channel 7\u2019s The Morning Show host Kylie Gillies, who wrote: \u201cWONDERFUL!\u201d and Lana Wilkinson, who noted that: \u201cThis is the best news! Congratulations, so happy for you all.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, comedian Dave Hughes wrote: \u201cEvery day is a gift for all of us. Thanks for the reminder.\u201d<\/p>\n
Previously, Lynette shared that she\u2019d had \u201ca couple of lymph nodes\u201d removed in the surgery.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow we play the waiting game \u2026 waiting on the official pathology results,\u201d she wrote at the time.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you EVERYONE for your beautiful messages. One thing this journey has taught me is just how loved and supported we can be when we allow people in. Thank you for carrying me through this surgery and through the last six months.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Bolton appeared on several television series including Dancing with the Stars, WAG Nation, Oz Travel and Sydney Weekender.<\/p>\n
She started chemo six days before Christmas after she noticed a lump on her right breast.<\/p>\n
\u201cCountless doctor appointments, mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, MRIs, blood tests, breast surgeon and oncology appts later (even a day surgery) AND today I kicked off the first of 12-24 weekly rounds of immunotherapy and chemo,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s happened fast.
