Asus has launched a portable Bluetooth speaker in China with a similar form factor as the JBL Go 5. It also costs significantly less than JBL’s speaker while having some identical features such as Bluetooth 6.0 and Auracast support.<\/p>\n

Asus has released a new portable Bluetooth speaker in China, and its design and features make it a rival to the JBL Go 5<\/a> which launched a few months ago. The new speaker is sold under Asus’s\u00a0A-bean\/Adol sub-brand, and is called the Adol PO102 Portable Bluetooth Speaker. <\/p>\n

Available in Gray, Purple, and Green, the Adol PO102 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is covered in fabric and silicone, and features large control buttons that you can locate easily even without looking. The speaker is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance, which means it is safe to use at the poolside or at the beach. It also has an integrated lanyard that makes it easy to attach to a backpack, handlebar, or a hook on the wall.<\/p>\n

\tThe Adol PO102 Portable Bluetooth Speaker has an IP67 dust and water resistance rating.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Adol PO102 Portable Bluetooth Speaker has a 6W output. It also features Bluetooth 6.0 and has support for Auracast, just like the JBL Go 5. It can be paired to a second speaker for a true stereo experience, and there’s a memory card slot, so you can listen to your playlist locally without pairing to another device. The speaker features a microphone for calls, but lacks an aux port. <\/p>\n

Asus says the speaker will provide up to 10 hours of listening time at 50% volume on a single charge with its 2,600mAh battery. The Adol PO102 Portable Bluetooth Speaker has a USB-C port for charging, and a full charge takes between 2 to 3 hours. <\/p>\n

The Adol PO102 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is available to buy now in China for\u00a0\u00a5139 (~$21\/\u20ac18), which makes it significantly cheaper than the JBL Go 5 which costs\u00a0\u00a5399 in China and $54.95 in the US (available on Amazon<\/a>).<\/p>\n
