SUPERCARS team owner Tim Blanchard will make his latest sporadic start behind the wheel at this weekend\u2019s Darwin Triple Crown.<\/p>\n

Just as was the case in 2025, the Blanchard Racing Team boss will make a cameo appearance in the Trans Am Cup Series at Hidden Valley.<\/p>\n

Blanchard will steer the Maverick Performance-prepared Ford Mustang which BRT star James Golding<\/a> raced to a podium result in the Trans Am season-opener at Mount Panorama in April.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great to be back in the Trans Am Cup Series,\u201d said the man who made 187 Supercars Championship race starts.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been 12 months since I\u2019ve raced in one of these cars and what better place to return than Hidden Valley. The atmosphere up there is great, and I always look forward to racing in front of the Territory crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m stoked to be joining forces with the Maverick crew as Gerard (McLeod) runs a great outfit and I\u2019m confident we\u2019ll have a strong package to work with heading into the weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n

McLeod added: \u201cTim has a wealth of experience and is a highly credentialed driver with lots of muscle memory, so anyone who doesn\u2019t see him as a genuine contender is kidding themselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was instantly on the pace at our test day at Winton and really gelled with the car and team so it will be great to see what he can do this weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n
