As the entertainment world comes to terms with the shock death of American singer Oliver Tree, eerie comments have emerged suggesting the performer had already thought extensively about what would happen to his wealth should he die prematurely.<\/p>\n

The online personality and musician, 32, was one of six people who perished on Sunday when two helicopters collided over Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

In a bizarre foreshadowing of his demise, Tree appeared on the popular Zach Sang Show<\/a> less than two months ago where he claimed his family would not receive \u201ca penny\u201d of his hard-earned cash upon his death.<\/p>\n

\u201cAny of the wealth, or the things that get made from it (his music) is mine, so when I die, I\u2019ve set it up. My will is set up that when I pass, my family . . . no one\u2019s gonna\u2019 get a penny,\u201d Tree said.<\/p>\n

The Life Goes On singer was not married, nor did have have children, but emphasised any future loved ones would also be heavily restricted on how much they may inherit from him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I have a wife or kids or anything, not getting a penny. I\u2019ll get my kids through college, that\u2019s the agreement. But they\u2019re not gonna\u2019 be a silver spoon,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea is when I die, all the money\u2019s gonna go back to artists.\u201d<\/p>\n

The star said he\u2019d set up a foundation in his name, labelled Dr. Oliver Tree\u2019s Art Grants for Baby Geniuses.<\/p>\n

He explained it was designed to spread his posthumous residuals to artists he\u2019d collaborated with, adding that \u201cwhen I die, my art will continue to have residuals and probably be worth more than it is now\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cHistorically speaking, artists\u2019 worth go up after they die, so the art will continue to make money, no matter what,\u201d Tree said.<\/p>\n

Tree signed with Atlantic Records in 2017 following the viral success of his song When I\u2019m Down, becoming recognised for his unique fashion sense and satirical approach to music and art.<\/p>\n

He released his debut studio album Ugly Is Beautiful in 2020.<\/p>\n
