Former Minnesota Gopher and Chanhassen native Mike Reilly is now a Stanley Cup champion after the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Las Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday night.<\/p>\n
Reilly captures hockey\u2019s holy grail in his 11th NHL season after joining the Hurricanes as a free agent earlier this season.<\/p>\n
The defenseman\u2019s playoff run was highlighted by a pair of assists in the Hurricanes\u2019 Game 1 victory against the Philadelphia Flyers.<\/p>\n
