Hines\u2019 other Instagram stories<\/a> as of Monday include a photo of her and Kennedy in front of the White House, and a few featuring the UFC cage that was erected on the White House\u2019s South Lawn to celebrate President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s 80th birthday \u2014 a literal \u201cis this real life?\u201d celebration that felt disturbingly reminiscent<\/a> of a few key scenes<\/a> from 2006\u2019s \u201cIdiocracy.\u201d<\/p>\n Bloomberg via Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cNate is family friendly entertainment first,\u201d a representative for Bargatze told HuffPost in an email Monday. \u201cHe is not political nor is anything he produces. He is also a huge UFC fan and has been since before it became political.\u201d <\/p>\n His rep noted to HuffPost that Bargatze has \u201cfans from both sides of the aisle,\u201d and that he \u201cappeared on The View and Fox and Friends\u201d to promote his new movie \u201cThe Breadwinner.\u201d <\/p>\n The rep also noted that the comedian \u201cdoesn\u2019t turn down photo requests.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cFor example, there\u2019s a photo of him and Don Lemon somewhere,\u201d his rep said. <\/p>\n \u201cHe went last night to enjoy a sport he loves,\u201d his rep concluded.<\/p>\n A quick gander of Bargatze\u2019s official social media accounts also show he made no mention of attending Trump\u2019s birthday bash, with his posts on Instagram showing mostly promotion for his new comedy movie and snippets of recent stand-up gigs. <\/p>\n Eric Charbonneau via Getty Images<\/p>\n The top-selling<\/a> and beloved comedian is known for his clean and nonpolitical comedy, and has hosted \u201cSaturday Night Live<\/a>\u201d twice as well as 77th Emmy Awards<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n But his fans may be a bit surprised to see Bargatze at a Trump-centric event, however, being that his mere presence at the party could be interpreted by critics as the comedian being Trump-friendly. <\/p>\n Considering his brand of humor, Bargatze has displayed a knack for avoiding politics in his comedy. In 2025, ahead of hosting the Emmys, he explained to Entertainment Weekly<\/a> why he planned to avoid the giant-Trump sized elephant in the room by making zero mention of politics during the award show.<\/p>\n Christopher Polk via Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cI know there\u2019s heartbreaking stuff that\u2019s been happening right now, but I want this night to be an escape, and I think that\u2019s why I was brought on,\u201d he told EW. \u201cEverybody has to deal with that stress all day long.
