<\/p>\nEleven\u00a0para cyclists will\u00a0represent\u00a0the ARA Australian Cycling Team at the 2026 UCI Para Cycling Road World Championships in\u00a0Huntsville, USA.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The squad will travel to\u00a0Huntsville, Alabama,\u00a0USA\u00a0and race for rainbow jerseys from\u00a0September 4-7.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 11-strong team\u00a0will look to build\u00a0on\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0a history-making campaign in 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Last year the team\u00a0equalled its 2019 record taking home\u00a0nine gold medals,\u00a0secured Australia’s first-ever medal in the Mixed Team Relay with silver, and produced\u00a0a number of\u00a0historic performances, including four dual world champions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Grant Allen, Lauren Parker and Alex Welsh return to the team this year after winning silver in the Mixed Team Relay in 2025.<\/p>\n
Returning from that team are\u00a0four\u00a0dual road and time trial world champions:\u00a0Lauren Parker (H3),\u00a0Alana Forster (C5),\u00a0Tara Neyland (C4),\u00a0and Tahlia Clayton-Goodie (C1).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Parker will\u00a0again\u00a0link up with Grant Allen and Alex Welsh for the\u00a0Mixed Team Trial, which they won silver last year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Joining them in the\u00a0USA\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0seasoned campaigners:\u00a0Alistair Donohoe, Darren Hicks,\u00a0Emily Petricola, Meg Lemon and\u00a0with emerging talent\u00a0Emma Mickle\u00a0rounding out the squad.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
AusCycling Head Coach of Para Cycling Sheila Galloway said the team would arrive in Huntsville determined to build on one of the most successful road campaigns in the program’s history.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cAustralian Para Cycling is in one of the strongest periods in its history, and the performances at the 2025 UCI Para Cycling Road World Championships demonstrated the depth, professionalism and resilience across this program,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
