The Brisbane Open House 2026 program has been unveiled, with 93 buildings set to open to the public across the weekend of 18\u201319 July.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s program welcomes the public into 205 North Quay<\/a> by Hassell, REX and Richards and Spence, 443 Queen Street, Brisbane<\/a> by WOHA, the National Rugby Training Centre, Ballymore<\/a> by Blight Rayner Architecture and the Glasshouse Theatre at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre by Blight Rayner Architecture in partnership with Sn\u00f8hetta. <\/p>\n Sixteen private homes will also open, including Balmoral Hillside House<\/a> by Kieron Gait Architects, Harriet House by Bligh Graham Architects, Same Same but Different House<\/a> by Maytree Studios and modernist favourite Eisenmenger House by Barry Walduck. <\/p>\n Other highlights include a 30-metre descent below ground to see of Brisbane\u2019s new Cross River Rail Stations under construction. <\/p>\n Brisbane Open House co-chair Malcolm Middleton said this year\u2019s event is unprecedented in scale and significance. \u201cThis is Brisbane Open House\u2019s seventeenth year, and we\u2019ve never had a program quite like this. All eyes are on Brisbane right now \u2013 the city is transforming at pace as we count down to 2032,\u201d Middleton said. \u201cThere is no better way to experience the transformation than exploring the buildings that have shaped Brisbane\u2019s past and are shaping its future, and hearing from the architects behind them.\u201d<\/p>\n
