A capacity field of 28 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup cars is set to make the trek to the top end, with 18 Pros and a strong contingent of 10 Pro-Am entries.<\/p>\n

For the first time, Carrera Cup Australia will run the international enduro format with a pair of 45-minute races across the weekend.<\/a><\/p>\n

Two drivers from one of the series\u2019 most storied teams will hit significant career milestones at Hidden Valley.<\/p>\n

Former Pro-Am class champion Liam Talbot returns to the category<\/a>, lining up with Wall Racing \u2013 the squad with which his championship success came.<\/p>\n

Having turned his attention to GT World Challenge Australia, winning the Pro-Am title in \u201923 and \u201924, Talbot makes the switch back to one-make Porsche racing for the rest of 2026.<\/p>\n

Michelin Sprint Challenge front-runner and reigning Class B champion Daniel Quimby will make his Carrera Cup debut in Darwin.<\/a><\/p>\n

Two-time champion Harri Jones leads the standings by just two points over reigning title winner Dylan O\u2019Keeffe.<\/p>\n

French-Finnish star Marcus Amand left Albert Park third in points, however does not return for Darwin, leaving top scored Michelin Junior Clay Osbourne primed to leapfrog.<\/p>\n

Darwin was the turning point in O\u2019Keeffe\u2019s championship chase last year, with the weekend sweep turning out to be his only three wins of the season.<\/p>\n

Garth Walden Racing dominated proceedings at Hidden Valley in 2025, with Pro-Am driver Matt Belford joining O\u2019Keeffe in a clean sweep of race wins.<\/p>\n

Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia commences on Friday with a pair of practice sessions, followed by qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday, and the final race on Sunday.<\/p>\n
