Wright was with her son, Presley, at another child\u2019s birthday party when the freak accident took place two weeks ago. <\/p>\n
Appearing on Tuesday\u2019s episode of This Morning, the 40-year-old explained that her son was playing on a bouncy castle indoors when he \u201csomehow got pinged off\u201d and flew into the air, landing some three metres away on a hard floor. <\/p>\n
Wright and her husband, William Lee-Kemp, frantically called an ambulance when they realised Presley wasn\u2019t breathing and had \u201cstarted to go blue\u201d. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt was about 10 to 15 seconds but it felt like forever,\u201d the Towie<\/a> star said. \u201cIt was awful and traumatising. We got him outside and at that point I screamed, \u2018Call an ambulance\u2019, because I was fearing the worst.\u201d<\/p>\n Wright\u2019s fears were compounded by the fact that Presley has a rare heart condition called bicuspid aortic valve, which means his valve has two flaps of skin instead of three. <\/p>\n Thankfully, Presley started breathing again when medical help arrived and became more alert once the family was at the hospital. <\/p>\n Wright said the accident was \u201ca complete one-off\u201d, adding that she was appearing on This Morning \u201cjust to make sure everyone knows, just be vigilant and aware that it can get quite serious\u201d. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s one of those things and I hope it never happens to anyone else, but it can happen,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n Sharing an update on how Presley is doing now, the reality TV star said: \u201cHe\u2019s good. He\u2019s slightly traumatised by it but he\u2019s fine.\u201d <\/p>\n Speaking alongside Wright, inflatables safety expert Craig Whitelock-Wainwright said parents<\/a> should research the company they\u2019re hiring from and ensure any inflatables they\u2019re hiring have passed a safety inspection. <\/p>\n Crash mats should be positioned next to the open sides of bouncy castles and children using them should be \u201cproperly supervised\u201d by an adult who knows what dangers to look out for, he added. <\/p>\n Wright previously said the accident caused a chilling silence across the party, adding that the sound of Presley\u2019s fall would “haunt me, I\u2019m sure\u201d<\/a>. <\/p>\n![\"Presley](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/jess-wright-and-son-presley.png\")
