With the historic UFC Freedom 250 event (which shockingly went off without a hitch) in the rearview, the UFC machine rolls on with another Fight Night going down this coming Saturday at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Typical APEX slop, but at least the main event is meaningful. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 199, I\u2019ve got a live dog on the prelims. Let\u2019s get it on, c\u2019mon!<\/p>\n

MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 119
\nUFC Fight Night: Kape vs Horiguchi (aka UFC Vegas 119)<\/a><\/p>\n

Start Time: 5:00 PM EST\u00a0<\/p>\n

I normally go striker over grappler with my picks (to great success), but I\u2019m breaking that rule this weekend on a women\u2019s bantamweight fight from the prelims. I\u2019m taking Brazilian Luana Santos<\/a> to beat her countrywoman, Karol Rosa, in the night\u2019s third fight.<\/p>\n

Rosa is a better striker than Santos, but incredibly inconsistent, having swapped wins and losses over her past eight fights (she won her last fight, so\u2026). I\u2019ll side with the much younger (by six years), much better grappling, and more consistent Santos to hang on the feet and get the job done on the mat.<\/p>\n
