{"id":740977,"date":"2026-06-16T21:36:12","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T21:36:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/740977\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T21:36:12","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T21:36:12","slug":"vancouver-canucks-agree-to-one-year-two-way-contract-with-d-cole-clayton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/740977\/","title":{"rendered":"Vancouver Canucks agree to one-year, two-way contract with D Cole Clayton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/vancouver-canucks\/23\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/vancouver-canucks\/23\" target=\"_blank\">Vancouver Canucks<\/a> have agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with defenceman Cole Clayton, the team announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The signing marks the second addition in the past week to Vancouver\u2019s blue line, after they <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/article\/canucks-add-d-thompson-on-two-way-contract\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/article\/canucks-add-d-thompson-on-two-way-contract\/\">added Jack Thompson on a one-year deal<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Clayton, 26, played in 32 games with the AHL\u2019s Abbotsford Canucks this past season, where he recorded six assists.
