I have July 11. &#8230; When would you think they would put me back in? &#8230; April 2027.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>McGregor will return to the Octagon on July 11 in a welterweight fight against Max Holloway at UFC 329, marking his first fight since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in a loss against Dustin Poirier in 2021. He was scheduled to face Michael Chandler in June 2024, but he pulled out of the bout due to an injury.<\/p>\n<p>The 37-year-old expressed frustration with his current setup on Tuesday, saying he would&#8217;ve liked the final bout on his contract to come in 2026 rather than wait eight months to fight again.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s almost a year later. That&#8217;s ridiculous to me. I think, No? &#8230; This is the way the contract was done. &#8230; I have my second date in April 2027.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added, &#8220;I&#8217;m like, &#8216;Huh? Just give me the f&#8212;&#8211;g contract.&#8217; It gets to that stage. I have July 11. It&#8217;s only around the corner. That&#8217;s positivity; that&#8217;s happiness. I got the date. I feel great. Bring it on.
