New York Jets running back Breece Hall is motivated to help his team follow in the New York Knicks’ footsteps.<\/p>\n

After the Knicks won the 2026 NBA Finals, Hall revealed that he had “positive jealousy” about their championship victory.<\/p>\n

“It gives you positive jealousy,” Hall told reporters Tuesday. “That’s what I say. It’s like, ‘Damn. I’m very happy.'”<\/p>\n

“Definitely positive jealousy because it’s like, ‘I want my team to be able to do that as well.’ So, it was definitely very cool to see,” he added.<\/p>\n

Hall was in attendance<\/a> as the Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the Finals to win their first title since 1973. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Jets last won the Super Bowl during the 1968 season. They also own the NFL’s longest<\/a> active playoff drought, failing to make the postseason in each of the past 15 years.<\/p>\n

This includes 2025, as New York finished at the bottom of the AFC East standings with a 3-14 record. <\/p>\n

Still, Hall will look to help the Jets return to the playoffs after signing<\/a> a three-year extension worth $43.5 million with the team on May 8.<\/p>\n

Last season, he rushed for 1,065 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games while averaging 4.4 yards per carry.
