Melbourne healthtech startup Everlab has raised $65 million in a Series A funding round led by Airtree Ventures. The round also saw participation from Plural, Left Lane Capital, b2venture and Australian Test cricket captain Pat Cummins.<\/p>\n
The raise follows a $15 million seed round<\/a> less than a year ago as the company looks to expand its preventative healthcare platform internationally and build what it describes as a more connected approach to primary care.<\/p>\n Founded in 2023, Everlab has developed a platform that combines diagnostics, clinicians, specialists, prescriptions, and wearable device data into a single system. Sign up for free. <\/p>\n By continuing, you agree to our Terms & Conditions<\/a> and Privacy Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWithout a complete picture, providers are limited in the quality and level of personalised care they can deliver.\u201d<\/p>\n The company\u2019s app aims to provide a single view of a patient\u2019s health history, bringing together test results, medical records, and ongoing care recommendations in one place.<\/p>\n \u201cOur patient base reflects the broader Australian population, and earning their trust to hold decades of their health data is the foundation everything else runs on,\u201d Dr Steven Lu, Everlab\u2019s chief medical officer, said.<\/p>\n \u201cOur goal is to cut a new path for primary care globally, proving that deep patient engagement and first-class preventative care don\u2019t just improve outcomes, it reduces the lifetime cost of care for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n Everlab also said it makes extensive use of AI to analyse health information and support ongoing care planning, positioning itself as a technology layer that sits across a patient\u2019s broader healthcare journey rather than replacing clinicians.<\/p>\n Hermann said technology plays a significant role in making preventative healthcare more accessible by helping clinicians work more efficiently and coordinate care across multiple providers.<\/p>\n \u201cPreventive health has always been service-intensive, and that\u2019s exactly what\u2019s kept it out of reach for most people,\u201d Hermann said.<\/p>\n \u201cProductising it is how we change that, turning what was once a high-touch privilege into something accessible at scale.<\/p>\n \u201cTechnology improves both efficiency and the member experience. Through connected health records, asynchronous communication, and coordinated care planning, providers can work from the same information and contribute their expertise throughout a patient\u2019s journey.\u201d<\/p>\n The company says it now supports more than 20,000 patients across Australia and New Zealand, has completed more than 40,000 consultations, and processes more than 200,000 health reports each month.<\/p>\n According to Everlab, the platform integrates with more than 1,850 healthcare provider locations, works with more than 180 clinicians, and connects with more than 30 wearable devices.<\/p>\n The startup claims it has processed more than 21 million biomarker test results to date, with more than 25% of members receiving findings that had not previously been identified through the traditional healthcare system.<\/p>\n Hermann said the company is focused on identifying meaningful risks rather than simply increasing the volume of testing.<\/p>\n \u201cWe don\u2019t believe in testing for the sake of testing.
