If the NFL grants his application to be entered in a supplemental draft next month, it figures to be a divisive issue among Jets fans whether to take Sorsby, who announced Monday<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/15\/sports\/brendan-sorsby-ends-eligability-saga-with-nfl-move\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> he was dropping his challenge to play this season at Texas Tech.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Jets could use another quarterback. They have Geno Smith as their starter and Bailey Zappe, Brady Cook and rookie fourth-round pick Cade Klubnik as the potential backups.
