Battlefield 6<\/a>\u00a0looks set to be revealed by EA in late July, though an early care package sent to an influencer has thrown a wrench in the publisher\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n First posted to social media by YouTuber DooM49 \u2014 and now deleted \u2014 EA is allegedly sending out care packages to influencers ahead of a three-day Battlefield 6\u00a0reveal that will start on 29 July.<\/p>\n \u201cHoly you guys! [Battlefield] just sent me this massive\u00a0Battlefield 6\u00a0case in the mail,\u201d the influencer wrote<\/a>, attaching a \u201cSponsoredbyEA\u201d hashtag.<\/p>\n \u201cContent creators are receiving packages from EA,\u201d Battlefield content creator rivaLxfactor added<\/a>. \u201cBattlefield 6 will be the title name and the preview to the world will probably be by the end of the month.\u201d<\/p>\n Battlefield 2042\u00a0was the latest iteration of the long-running franchise, and wasn\u2019t received well by critics or fans.<\/p>\n \u201cIn a world where developers are getting used to working from home and games are being pushed back due to the global pandemic, EA decided that\u00a0Battlefield 2042 was ready for this year,\u201d Luke wrote in our 4.5\/10 review<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s not. More time is needed to fix a lot of the problems, but even then that might not be enough to save it from being one of the most lacklustre Battlefield titles yet.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf this Battlefield ends up being rushed or another botch job like 2042 it is over,\u201d rivaLxfactor added.<\/p>\n
