A valuable FIA Girls on Track Pathways event is confirmed to take place at Michelin\u2019s state-of-the-art Melbourne-based office, providing special insights into how a major player in commercial motorsport utilises marketing, partnerships, presenting, and media at the highest industry level.<\/p>\n

The session will be held on Wednesday, 12 August at Michelin Australia located at Port Melbourne where participants will get to experience a behind the scenes experience at Michelin\u2019s Australian head office.<\/p>\n

Michelin Motorsport & Media Manager, Ebony Doherty noted the importance of the upcoming collaboration.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a much broader world within motorsport than what people see on track, and initiatives like this allow us to open that up in a really tangible way,\u201d Doherty said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy bringing participants into Michelin HQ and delivering dedicated workshops, we can showcase how global brands operate within the automotive and marketing space, while highlighting the diverse and often untapped career pathways available across the industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis initiative expands on the traditional trackside pathways experience, providing additional insight into the wider industry landscape and encouraging participants to explore opportunities they may not have previously considered.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to gaining an understanding of Michelin\u2019s role within the global motorsport landscape, participants will have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, build their networks, and further develop the skills needed to pursue a career in the sector.<\/p>\n

Motorsport Australia Development Manager Charlie Barlow outlined the superb opportunity the session will provide participants in terms of skillset improvement.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re extremely grateful to Michelin and its employees for allowing our Girls on Track participants to learn from their own industry experiences, helping our participants better understand the many avenues into motorsport from a professional lens.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event aligns with Motorsport Australia\u2019s mission to continue to inspire girls and women aged\u00a015\u201322 years old\u00a0to pursue career pathways in the motorsport industry.<\/p>\n
