Vodafone have resolved the issue with its mobile network, with services being progressively restored on Thursday. <\/p>\n
The network went down on Thursday morning, potentially affecting millions of Australians.<\/p>\n
A Vodafone spokesperson said the issue was caused by an outage to one of its network hubs about 8am on Thursday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe issue has been isolated and resolved, and services are now being progressively restored,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n
\u201cMost services have now been restored; however, some may continue to experience intermittent issues as devices reconnect.\u201d<\/p>\n
The spokesperson said customers should have been able to access triple-0 by connecting to other available networks at the time.<\/p>\n
Earlier on Thursday, Vodafone customers around the country complained about the outage, with many only on SOS-only mode on their phones. <\/p>\n
Vodafone\u2019s network status checker on its website displayed an error message.<\/p>\n
Reports of issues peaked at 9.05am, with more than 8260 reports, according to Downdetector.<\/p>\n
