\n\tBen Stiller<\/a>, a longtime fan of the New York Knicks<\/a>, has revealed he\u2019s working on a multi-part documentary about the storied NBA team that just took home its first championship in 53 years.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter teaming up with the NBA, A24<\/a> and HBO for the documentary, Stiller is set to direct the project, which will follow the team\u2019s full arc from the 90s to the improbable, record-breaking run that saw the Knicks<\/a> victorious once again this year.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor and filmmaker shared more details about the doc on the podcast, The Roommates Show<\/a>, hosted by Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, alongside co-host Matt \u201cMatty Ice\u201d Hillman.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cObviously I\u2019ve been shooting some stuff on my phone<\/a>, but it\u2019s kind of gonna be about all eras of the Knicks. There\u2019s a culmination here of something that has been going on for a long time, so it\u2019s super exciting,\u201d Stiller said. \u201cAnd it\u2019s great to have had all this access to your team, and we\u2019re gonna probably be shooting a little bit more during next season.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Severance executive producer-director also noted that he\u2019s planning to interview the players for the doc, which they\u2019ll be putting together over the next year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI could not be more excited. This is a dream project, so cannot wait,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe doc is also expected to offer unprecedented NBA access and never-before-seen footage of the team.<\/p>\n

\n\tStiller was seen sitting<\/a> <\/a>courtside<\/a>, supporting the Knicks throughout their run in this year\u2019s NBA Finals<\/a>.
