The Goonies star Corey Feldman has thanked fans for their concerns and well-wishes after his health emergency on a flight from Chicago to LA.<\/p>\n

The \u201980s teen star was rushed to hospital on Monday (Tuesday AEST) after being met at the gate by paramedics.<\/p>\n

He began feeling ill on the plane and was looked over by a passenger on-board who happened to be a doctor but the professional was unclear what the issue was.<\/p>\n

Doctors ruled out gallstones and eventually put the vegetarian\u2019s symptoms down to severe food poisoning.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Great] news everybody I\u2019m alive!!,\u201d Feldman, 54, shared in a post on X.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m out of the hospital & home on bed rest! Thank u all 4 the love & support! Seriously! I haven\u2019t felt this loved in a long time!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Goonies star, now 54, shared regular health updates with fans via social media.\u00a0Warner Bros via YouTube<\/p>\n

In an earlier post, while still in hospital, the actor admitted the incident \u201cwas def scary\u201d but he was positive about being on the road to recovery.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think ill b ok, all signs look good as of now,\u201d he told fans in a separate post.<\/p>\n

He reminded fans he had a new single being released next week, What Am I Here 4, the announcement of which on Tuesday was overshadowed by news of his health scare.<\/p>\n

Also not helping the situation was a misdiagnosis that had been leaked to the media.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a big scare bcuz a dr misdiagnosed me & then some1 on the medical staff sent that misdiagnosis 2 the media in real time, based on the result of a preliminary blood test!\u201d he wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n
