However, it seemed that the best accessory to don was the royal-adjacent mother-in-law. Case in point? Aliz\u00e9e Thevent, who looked the picture of Ascot elegance in a ruffled neck, floral-strewn concoction paired with a jaunty boater and a delectable mini top-handle bag. Meanwhile, Carole Middleton, mother of the Princess of Wales, looked beautiful in blush, peaking out from a sizeable saucer which she paired with a matching handbag and shoes, naturally.<\/p>\n

They join the ranks of the well-spruced revellers who turned heads for all the right reasons yesterday when the inaugural style<\/a> idol of the event was, naturally, Zara Tindall<\/a>.
