Street vendors at the New York Knicks\u2019 ticker-tape parade made a killing peddling bootleg merchandise \u2013 raking in thousands of dollars in just a few hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Wan Ali, of Los Angeles, California, sold about 40 Knicks-themed bucket hats in just 45 minutes \u2013 at a jaw-dropping $100 to $150 a pop.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe did great, passed $10,000 this morning,\u201d Ali, 53, told The Post from his lower Manhattan outpost. \u201cBetter than New Years, because I didn’t freeze and have to pay for a high dollar hotel room.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
Parade attendee D. Spin, of Raleigh, North Carolina, said he got sticker shock at first, but then still opted to snag a hat.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor $100, I wasn’t sure,\u201d he said \u201cbut I was getting so many compliments on this hat [that] I had to come back and get some more stuff for folks back home.”<\/p>\n
