Exclusive: Married At First Sight<\/a> star and proud mum of two boys Jules Robinson<\/a> is clapping back at those criticising her for using a gender swayer as she tries for baby number three. <\/p>\n

Robinson<\/a>, 44, has received her fair share of backlash after being open online about wanting a daughter, the reality star tells nine.com.au she isn\u2019t doing anything wrong.<\/p>\n

Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant have wanted a daughter together since they met on Married at First Sight.\u00a0Instagram\/@julesrobinson82<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just saying the quiet part out loud, women have these conversations with their friends all the time,\u201d Robinson said. <\/p>\n

The businesswoman, who met husband Cameron Merchant on Season 6 of MAFS in 2018, recently revealed she\u2019s been working with a professional gender sway expert to conceive a third and final baby, a girl. <\/p>\n

Robinson<\/a> and Merchant are already smitten with their young family as parents of Ollie<\/a>, five, and Carter<\/a>, two. <\/p>\n

The reveal was not taken well by some online, who insisted that parents shouldn\u2019t try and to choose the gender of their child. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf the information\u2019s there, why not be open to receiving it \u2013 which is what I\u2019ve been doing,\u201d she explained. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf I hold that child and it\u2019s a little boy. Oh my god, I\u2019m going to love him more than anything; of course,\u00a0I will. I\u2019m just saying that if there\u2019s any power that Cam and I have, naturally, to sway the baby to be a girl, then we\u2019re going to try that.\u201d <\/p>\n

She added that she\u2019s a \u201chuge believer\u201d in the power of intention and mindset. One of the ways she has tried to manifest a daughter is by creating an AI-generated image of her family, including a little girl. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s quite a positive thing to do to look at if you are visual and when you manifest,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Despite Robinson being dedicated to the techniques the gender sway expert recommends, she confessed the process has been \u201cintense.\u201d <\/p>\n

Robinson recently revealed she\u2019s been working with a professional gender sway expert to try and have a girl. \u00a0Instagram\/@julesrobinson82<\/p>\n

\u201cI meet with her every single month and then on 10th day of my cycle, I go and have a blood test done, which reads my hormone\u00a0levels,\u201d she explained. <\/p>\n

\u201cThen you try to conceive before ovulation, because female sperm live a lot longer than male. So the idea is that the female sperm will still be there and you conceive.\u201d <\/p>\n

Despite the increased popularity of natural gender swaying experts, the broader medical and scientific community maintains that these methods are not clinically proven to alter the sex of a baby.<\/p>\n

Robinson continued: \u201cIt has been a\u00a0process… to be honest, I\u2019m six months in now, and I\u2019m like \u2019I don\u2019t\u00a0care, just give me another baby.\u201d<\/p>\n

She explained that she came accidentally came across the gender sway expert. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was at my local coffee shop and I was just talking to a stranger, she was there by herself with no phone, no nothing, and she was just having a moment away from her children<\/a>,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe said she had two girls, I was like, \u2018I\u2019ve got two boys I\u2019d love to have a girl,\u2019 and she went, \u2018oh, actually, I\u2019ve heard about this lady\u2019 and she showed it to me. That\u2019s how it got introduced to me,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cCam and I have had our little girl name ever since we were in the Married At First Sight experiment together, I know Cam would absolutely love a daughter.\u201d <\/p>\n

Amid the chaos of trying for another baby, Robinson is steering the ship at her shapewear company FIGUR. <\/p>\n

The brand just launched its latest campaign, Reshaping the Expectation, which was inspired by Barbie. <\/p>\n

The campaign featured nine real Australian women wearing FIGUR shapewear in \u201cbarbie\u201d doll boxes at the Macquarie Centre, showing off different types of female bodies, including one woman who lost her arm to meningococcal. <\/p>\n

\u201cI really feel like it\u2019s my most important work that I\u2019ve done to date, especially with FIGUR, and the inspiration that came from it was who decides what beauty looks like,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cFor decades, we\u2019ve been presented with this very narrow definition of beauty and showing perfection, which isn\u2019t reality.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cEven Barbie has evolved so much over the years that even now she shows different women\u00a0who come under different categories, from autism to loads of different things \u2013 it\u2019s a bit of a nod to her in the sense that the beauty industry is evolving.\u201d <\/p>\n

Despite the shapewear market already being saturated with brands like SKIMS and Spanx, Robinson said she never worries about her competitors. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt really wasn\u2019t even a question of [competing],\u201d she explained. <\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, she\u2019s absolutely incredible and I admire everything that she\u2019s done with her brand, with her skims, but FIGUR is totally\u00a0different.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think there are any other shapewear brands out there that really positioned themselves in the way that FIGUR does.\u201d <\/p>\n
