{"id":747500,"date":"2026-06-19T21:33:19","date_gmt":"2026-06-19T21:33:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/747500\/"},"modified":"2026-06-19T21:33:19","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T21:33:19","slug":"warrior-roger-tuivasa-sheck-joins-sky-sports-nrl-coverage-after-season-ending-injury","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/747500\/","title":{"rendered":"Warrior Roger Tuivasa-Sheck joins Sky Sport\u2019s NRL coverage after season-ending injury"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-lg leading-6 lg:text-xl lg:leading-6\">Warriors star Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will join Sky Sport\u2019s NRL broadcast team for the remainder of the 2026 season after being ruled out with a serious knee injury.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-lg leading-6 lg:text-xl lg:leading-6\">The Dally M Medal winner will make his debut as an expert analyst on Saturday, 27 June, when the Warriors face the Dolphins.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-lg leading-6 lg:text-xl lg:leading-6\">Tuivasa-Sheck will contribute to Sky\u2019s pre-match, halftime and post-match coverage across the Warriors\u2019 home and away fixtures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-lg leading-6 lg:text-xl lg:leading-6\">His move into broadcasting follows the knee injury he suffered last month, which has sidelined him for the rest of the NRL season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-lg leading-6 lg:text-xl lg:leading-6\">Sky\u2019s head of sport content, Gary Burchett, says Tuivasa-Sheck will offer viewers a level of insight drawn from his experience as one of rugby league\u2019s leading players.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-lg leading-6 lg:text-xl lg:leading-6\">\u201cRoger is one of the most respected voices in rugby league, not just for what he\u2019s achieved, but for how he sees the game,\u201d Burchett says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-lg leading-6 lg:text-xl lg:leading-6\">\u201cThis is about adding insight our audience can\u2019t get anywhere else. Roger understands the modern player, the pressure moments, and importantly the detail that shapes the Warriors\u2019 fortunes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-lg leading-6 lg:text-xl lg:leading-6\">Tuivasa-Sheck joins a Sky Sport rugby league team that already includes former Warriors captain Shaun Johnson, Monty Betham and broadcaster Laura McGoldrick.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/07bf83a6e86be0e8e2b3723b007d5611005d7545-512x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"h-full w-full object-cover\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-sm leading-4\">In May it was announced that Roger Tuivasa-Sheck would miss the remainder of the season with an ACL injury.
